We launched Community Fair Trade in 1987, back then under the name Trade Not Aid. Over 30 years later, this principle is just as strong. From handcrafted shea butter in Ghana to recycled paper gift bags from Nepal, we source our ingredients and packaging from across the globe, providing our partners with vital financial independence. Many of them are women in rural areas with limited economic opportunities. This helps us achieve our goal of making business a force for good, and we are incredibly proud of that.
